We're Bridget and Josh. Full-time RVers, entrepreneurs, parents to one very tiny traveler, and the team behind Diesel, Dust & Golden Hour.
In 2021, we looked at each other across a kitchen table in Goodyear, Arizona, and decided that the house we were supposed to love forever was starting to feel like a trap. A week later we were listing it. A few months later, we were pulling out of the driveway for the last time.
We'd been talking about RV life for years. Dreaming about it. Telling other people "someday." Then one day we ran out of reasons to wait — and we realized every reason we'd ever had was really just fear dressed up as logic.
We pointed the rig north. Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah — we just kept going. Nothing was planned past the next week. We figured it out as we went. And somewhere around the third sunset in a state we'd never been to before, we realized we weren't going back.
From Goodyear to Cottonwood, the long way around. Ten stops, fifteen states, one baby, and more sunsets than we can count.
Three humans, one rig, and a very specific division of labor. Here's who does what.
The one with the laptop. Founder of Search Everywhere Marketing, creator of the SEvO methodology, and the person keeping four ventures moving while Josh is under the rig with a wrench. Also flies the drone. Also writes this. Also probably on a call right now.
30 years of combined diesel and RV repair. If it moves, breaks, leaks, smokes, or refuses to cooperate — Josh fixes it. Launched RV Tank Specialist in Las Vegas in 2022, co-founded RV Journey Genie, and is the technical brain behind half of what we build. Now serving the Sedona + Verde Valley area.
Born in Las Vegas in 2022, road-raised ever since. Has already been to more states than most adults. Specialties include asking "are we there yet" in creative new ways, commandeering the drone controller, and reminding us that this life is bigger than any business plan.
Our fifth wheel is literally our office. Zoom calls happen from the dinette. Edits happen from the passenger seat. The "commute" is sliding out the slide-out in the morning.
Cottonwood is home base. We've got Copper Canyon's laser workshop here and spend most of our time anchored in the Verde Valley — but the rig still goes where the story is.
Bridget handles strategy, marketing, content, client work. Josh handles the physical world — tank repairs, rig maintenance, anything mechanical. Mini Explorer supervises everything.
Every venture is designed to run from the road. No fixed office means no pressure to fill it — just the work, the family, and wherever the next sunset happens to land.
"Someday" is the most expensive word in the English language. Every time we've said it, we've regretted it. Every time we've thrown it out and just started — we've been glad we did.
